Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed his ambition of playing for a Serie A side amid the recent speculation over his future.
The Belgium international has witnessed a stop-start season with the Red Devils and he has netted just 15 goals for the club across all competitions.
Speaking to Sky Italia, the Belgian has highlighted his ambition of playing for an Italian top-flight club, though he is focused on his duties with United for the season.
"Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream," he said."I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on the United."
Lukaku has been linked with a potential move to Inter Milan recently with the Nerazzurri prepared to offer Mauro Icardi in a straight-exchange deal for the Belgian.
Icardi has, however, had disciplinary concerns of his own of late and it remains to be seen whether United would consider recruiting the Argentine ahead of the summer.
