Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is reportedly holding out for a potential move to Liverpool after stalling on a contract package offered by Manchester United.
The 24-year-old is expected to become a free agent when his contract with Les Parisiens expires at the end of the month and he has been widely touted to make the switch to the Premier League.
United are said to have already offered a £9m annual wage package on top of a £4.5m signing bonus to head to Old Trafford, but according to The Sun, he is stalling on agreeing terms with the club.
Instead, he is holding out for an approach from arch-rivals Liverpool, who are likely to strengthen their midfield ranks further despite the Champions League title success this month.
Jurgen Klopp's side recently bagged a sixth Champions League crown after beating Tottenham Hotspur by a 2-0 scoreline. The victory ended a seven-year wait for major silverware at the Merseyside outfit.
