Arsenal make official bid to sign Belgian winger

Arsenal have reportedly made a formal bid to secure the signature of Yannick Ferreira Carrasco from Chinese side Dalian Yifang this summer.

The north London side were hotly tipped to sign the Belgian last winter but a deal failed to materialise after they failed to match the £25m asking price.

However, it appears that they have not given on the player's pursuit and according to SPORT, the Gunners are deemed to have made another approach to pursue the former Atletico Madrid man.

Carrasco has been desperate to seal a return to Europe since the turn of the year and he recently hinted that his present side have received a fresh bid from one of his admirers.

The winger has made a strong impression during his time in the Chinese Super League and he has netted a sublime tally of 10 goals and seven assists from just 10 appearances for the side during the ongoing campaign.
