Kevin Keegan finally had his first win to celebrate in the Premiership in his second spell in charge of Newcastle, as his troops battled to a 2-0 victory over Fulham in the Premiership. Fulham now look destined for the Championship next season.

  • Mark Viduka's early shot and a late Michael Owen goal clinched a first league victory for Newcastle since Kevin Keegan returned as manager in January.



    Aussie striker Viduka switched Geremi's pass from right foot to left before shooting into the bottom corner.



    Newcastle should have been ahead by more;Martins and Owen both saw blistering efforts fingertipped away by Kasey Kaller.



    It took an 83rd minute strike by Owen to wrap up the result; despite Martins also grabbed a disallowed goal.
