Juventus are reportedly planning to offer Douglas Costa as a makeweight as they seek to secure the signature of midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
Pogba's future has been a regular discussion point in the past few weeks and the midfielder has recently acknowledged that he could prefer a fresh challenge after three years at Old Trafford.
According to Calciomercato, the Bianconeri are keen on making an attempt to re-sign Pogba, but they are unlikely to match the Red Devils' £150m for the World Cup winner.
Instead, the Bianconeri are said to be preparing a player-plus-cash deal to reduce the transfer price and Costa has been identified as the player, who could be heading to Old Trafford as part of the move.
Costa had a forgettable 2018/19 campaign where he struggled with a number of calf and hamstring concerns and he managed to score just one goal through out the Serie A season.
Irrespective of this, he has continued to attract interest from multiple sides with his strong pace attributes and United are said to be one of the long-term admirers of his services.
