Manchester United have reportedly been told to come up with an offer of £90m in order to secure the signature of midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.
The Red Devils are aiming to reinforce the midfield after the departure of Ander Herrera this summer and Milikovic-Savic is one of the players under consideration to fulfil the void.
According to Sky Italia, United have been in talks with the Serie A side in the past few days and they have proposed a £72m package to land the Serbia international.
However, the offer has been swiftly rebuffed by the Rome-based outfit and they have now indicated that they want at least £90m to sanction the midfielder's sale this summer.
Aside from United, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the Serbian midfielder, whose contract with Lazio expires in the summer of 2023.
The Red Devils are currently in advanced negotiations to land the signature of Harry Maguire from Leicester City. The club are hoping to land the centre-back for a fee of around £80m.
