Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has indicated that he is content with the options in the current squad and the club may not invest on any high-profile players before the transfer deadline.
The Merseyside outfit ended a seven-year wait for a trophy last season as they lifted the Champions League crown while they missed on the Premier League title by the single point.
In a press conference, Klopp revealed that the club have no need to re-invest in the transfer market on the back of celebrating European success after more than a decade.
He added that the fans should not expect any big signings during the remaining weeks of the transfer window and the club cannot compete with other elite sides in terms of spending every summer.
"How I said, it will not be the biggest transfer window of LFC; we invested a lot in the team in the last two years, I would say. We cannot spend every year in the same manner," he was quoted by the club's official website.
Liverpool are currently in the United States for the second phase of their pre-season. They are scheduled to face Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Sporting during their time in the country.
The Merseyside giants have made the single signing for the ongoing transfer window with teenage defender Sepp van den Burg joining them from Dutch side PEC Zwolle.
