Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has reportedly travelled to Belgium with his representative as he is keen to accelerate his departure to Inter Milan this summer.

  • The 26-year-old travelled with the Red Devils for their pre-season tour of Australia and the Far East but he did not make a single appearance due to a minor knock.

According to The Mail, the Red Devils players have flown back to Manchester this morning but Lukaku did not leave the airport as he immediately departed for Belgium.

It is added that talks over his potential transfer will be accelerated in the next 48 hours with the Serie A giants hoping to find the breakthrough over the marksman's transfer.

So far, the Serie A side have been reluctant to meet the Red Devils' £74.8m valuation but they continue to remain positive of reaching a transfer agreement with the striker eager to link up with manager Antonio Conte.

United are currently looking into deals for the likes of Nicolas Pepe and Bruno Fernandes and part of their remaining business would be dependent on the sale of Lukaku.
