Manchester United are reportedly reluctant to sanction the sale of Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan this summer unless the Serie A side are willing to include the obligation to buy.
The Chile international has been backed to make the move to the Nerazzurri this summer with the San Siro club prepared to sign him on a season-long loan with the option for a permanent deal next summer.
However, according to The Sun, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side would prepare to part ways with Sanchez on a permanent basis in 12 months' time and they want a compulsory buy clause included.
Still, they are likely to hand Sanchez with a massive payoff for the remaining three years of his contract such that the attacker is willing to take a significant cut on his £500,000-a-week wages on joining the Nerazzurri.
Sanchez has played no part for the Red Devils due to fitness concerns and Solskjaer has recently hinted that forward could leave the club before the European transfer deadline on September 2.
