James Maddison open to future Manchester United move?

08 September 2019 - 15:12

Leicester City attacker James Maddison has opened to the possibility of joining Manchester United in the future after stating that he would like to play at the highest level based on his ability.

  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • The 22-year-old has been linked with a potential move to the Red Devils at the turn of the year but Foxes legend Steve Walsh recently suggested that the midfielder may remain loyal to the east Midlands outfit.

In a report covered by M.E.N, Maddison has now hinted that he could part ways with the Foxes in the future with the means of playing at the highest level corresponding to his potential on the field.

"I want to play at the highest level my ability will allow me to. I like to think I've my head screwed on with the transfers I've made. I've played League One, in Scotland, the Championship and the Premier League. I worked my way up," he said.

Maddison contributed seven goals and seven assists during his debut Premier League season with the Foxes last term. He has continued in the same vein of form and has registered a couple of assists this season.
