Capello satisfied with England

Capello satisfied with England

27 March 2008 - 21:10

England boss Fabio Capello was happy with the efforts of his side against France yesterday evening - despite losing to France 1-0 - and added that he saw many improvements from the last game against Switzerland.

  • Barcelona have genuine interest in Chelsea forward
  • Man Utd handed boost in signing West Ham star?
  • "I saw some important improvements. We were playing against a top level team and we did well," said Capello.

"We didn't let our opponents play and played with personality. We played especially well in the first half.

"I need to see all the players play in order to have clear ideas of what to do when qualification for the World Cup starts.

"David Beckham was fit and could have continued. He was substituted because I needed to see other players."
