Three key Manchester United stars injured for West Ham clash

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that the likes of Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial won't be available for the Premier League trip to West Ham United on Sunday.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Shaw and Martial picked up hamstring and thigh injuries respectively during the 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace last month and they continue to remain on the sidelines alongside Pogba, who is struggling with an ankle problem sustained before the international break at Southampton.

Speaking ahead of the Hammers clash, Solskjaer has confirmed that the trio are unlikely to make the east London trip, given they are yet to report to first-team training, he told: "Not really, no. They have not been training yet. Luke won’t be ready."

Meanwhile, Daniel James has been struggling with a minor knock in recent days but he seems available for the game after making the travelling squad for the Hammers clash.

One notable absentee remains Mason Greenwood, who has been surprisingly rested following his winning goal in the 1-0 Europa League triumph over Astana on Thursday night.
