Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has said that he is unsure whether N'Golo Kante will make his injury comeback during the Premier League clash at Burnley this weekend.
The Frenchman sustained an adductor problem while training with France during the international break and he has since missed the games against Newcastle United and Ajax.
Lampard has confirmed that the midfielder has returned to training ahead of the weekend encounter but he did not provides assurances over the Frenchman's comeback to the matchday squad.
"N’Golo is training again but it’s not clear whether he will be fit for the weekend or not," he was quoted as saying by BT Sport following the 1-0 win over Ajax in the Champions League.
The west London giants have won six games on the bounce across all competitions and they are currently fourth in the Premier League standings with 17 points.
Elsewhere, they have also found their form in Europe and they are presently at the top of their Champions League group ahead of Ajax on the head-to-head statistic.
