Spurs left-back asks clubs to wait until 2021 to make an offer

Tottenham Hotspur player Danny Rose has told Manchester United and potential suitors to wait until 2021 before vying for his services as he is currently unavailable for sale.

  • Confirmed Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Man Utd, new injury for the Blues

  • The Englishman was heavily linked to Manchester United during José Mourinho’s reign. The Portuguese tactician was very critical of Luke Shaw which contributed towards his interest in Rose.

Spurs were able to keep Rose despite Mourinho’s unrelenting efforts to recruit the 29-year-old. Although United have since moved on from the player’s services, some sources believe that Solskjaer is still interested in luring Rose to Old Trafford.

Previously, the left-back was made available for transfer last summer and did not join the club’s pre-season tour to Asia. However, no deal was made and Rose has since started 11 games for Spurs this term.

Spurs are struggling this season and are now languishing in 14th place in the Premier League standings. In their last match, the Lilywhites were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Sheffield United.
