Barcelona are reportedly determined to land the signature of midfielder Willian from Chelsea when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
The Brazilian was the subject of a £50m bid from the Blaugrana in the summer of 2018 but the Blues made it clear that the winger was not for sale.
Willian has since remained an important player within the Blues' ranks but there are doubts regarding his future with his contract due to expire next summer.
The 31-year-old has spoken about the prospect of committing to a new deal with the west London side but so far, there has been no progress with the Blues reluctant to meet his demands for a multi-year contract.
According to AS, the Blaugrana are keeping a close eye on the developments and they are eager to lure Willian on a free transfer at the conclusion of the season.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk man is free to discuss a pre-contract with an overseas club in January and the Spanish champions are seemingly prepared to offer him a three-year deal starting from the summer of 2020.
