  • The 38-year-old has demonstrated he is still capable of performing at the very highest level, with a number of quality world class goals during his time in the United States. Even prior to that Ibrahimovic had helped Man Utd to a treble in his final season at Old Trafford.  According to Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola, Ibrahimovic is pining for a return to Europe and will stop at nothing to push through a deal in January.

Ibrahimovic had a spell with AC Milan between 2010 and 2012, scoring 56 goals in the process, and according to the Bet365 app AC Milan are favourites to snap up the striker once he decides to make his next move.

Ibrahimovic left the following message on his Twitter account after exiting LA Galaxy: "I came, I saw, I conquered. Thank you @lagalaxy for making me feel alive again. To the Galaxy fans - you wanted Zlatan, I gave you Zlatan. You are welcome. The story continues...Now go back to watch baseball."

It is understood Ibrahimovic is seeking a short term six month deal at his next club.
