Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has provided a fresh update on the fitness of Tammy Abraham following the Blues' 2-1 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The England international missed the West Ham United game with a hip problem but he was able to make his comeback against the Villains on Wednesday night where he bagged the opening goal.
However, he was unable to complete the 90 minutes as he was substituted with a possible knee concern but Lampard has dismissed suggestions that he could miss the forthcoming league clash against Everton.
In a press conference covered by Football.London, he said: "It doesn’t seem too bad. Tammy at the moment is Tammy. A striker near the top, showing his all round game. A personality in the dressing room."
Abraham has been the stand out performer for the Blues in the attack with 12 goals and four assists and he will be hoping to continue the good form on the trip to Merseyside this weekend.
