Shevchenko wont join Milan

Shevchenko won't join Milan

30 March 2008 - 12:27

Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko looks unlikely to be heading for a move back to AC Milan. The Ukrainian striker has been consistently linked with a return to the San Siro, but Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out the move.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • "I don't think he would make an ideal partnership with Pato, as their characteristics are too similar," pointed out Ancelotti.

"There would be a much better and more balanced pairing between Pato and Marco Borriello, as they have different characteristics, yet they are compatible."

Shevchenko could now be destined for a return to Ukraine with his old club Dinamo Kiev, who are preparing a £6 million offer for Shevchenko.
