Barcelona are reportedly keen on acquiring the services of Willian from Chelsea when the transfer window reopens in the middle of next week.
Willian's current deal with the Blues expires in the summer of 2020 and so far, there has been no progress in terms of the renewal with the side.
As a result, the 31-year-old is free to discuss a pre-contract with an overseas club next month and the Blaugrana have recently been fancied to make a proposal.
However, a new report from El Desmarque claims that the Spanish giants want Willian in January itself, particularly with the regular injury setbacks for Ousmane Dembele.
Willian, who has scored five times for the Blues this term, has openly spoken about the ambition of renewing his contract but he has likewise acknowledged that the final decision depends on the club.
The Blues are presently reluctant to meet his demands for a multi-year deal and it remains to be seen whether the Brazilian is tempted to join the Blaugrana, who have wanted to sign him since 2018.
