Ancelotti wants Napoli midfielder Allan

Everton boss Ancelotti eyeing a reunion with Serie A midfielder

24 January 2020 - 10:52

According to Daily Mail, Everton are interested in signing Napoli midfielder, Allan.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The report adds that the Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti has contacted the Brazilian midfielder as a means to persuade him to the Premier League.

It is also believed that the 29-year-old is also willing to reunite with his former boss at Goodison Park.

Allan’s future with Partenopei remains uncertain following the arrivals of news signings Diego Demme and Slovak midfielder Stanislav Lobotka.

Allan has made 14 appearances in the Serie A this season and can play in a variety of positions in the midfield. Furthermore, he has also been linked with a move to Inter Milan, who are willing to let go of Matias Vecino in a swap deal.

Ancelotti’s start to his managerial reign at Goodison Park hasn't been overwhelming as he had picked up only three wins out of last seven games, which means the Toffees’ squad needs a rework in the transfer window.

Everton are currently 12th in the Premier League table and will play Watford in their next league fixture.
