Chelsea winger Willian was reportedly dropped from the matchday squad to face Leicester City last weekend due to his bad attitude after missing out on a January move to Barcelona.

  • Chelsea ready to hand Nicolas Jackson fresh chance
  • The Brazilian has been on the radar of the Blaugrana for the past few years and they have been unable to land his signature due to the not-for-sale stance from the Blues.

According to The Sun, the west London giants rejected a January approach from the Blaugrana to secure his services and that did not go well with the experienced attacker.

The same publication adds that Frank Lampard believed that Willian's head had dropped after the failed move and that contributed to him being dropped to the bench.

Willian has repeatedly cited that he would prefer to remain with the Blues beyond the expiry of his Blues contract this summer but he still seems keen on a move to the Camp Nou.

The Europa League holders have yet to negotiate a new contract with him and it remains to be seen whether he can retain his focus for the rest of the campaign.
