Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that Scott McTominay could return to regular training in the lead up to the Premier League clash against Chelsea on February 17.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Scotland international has been out of action since Boxing Day when he picked up a knee ligament injury against Newcastle United and reports have previously claimed that he may make his comeback in March.

However, speaking to MUTV, Solskjaer has revealed that the Scot has made a quicker recovery than expected and he is hopeful that the midfielder can join in the training sessions at the warm-weather camp in Marbella.

"Scotty has done better in his recovery than we thought, so we will take him with us. Hopefully he can join in the training sessions and Axel as well, he'll join in, so that's two positives and it's a good chance for them to use this time," he told.

Manchester United have not included Paul Pogba in their 20-man squad for the training camp but reports have claimed that the Frenchman is working hard on his fitness and could likewise make his return for the Blues game.
