  • The Canadian striker is one of the talented forwards in Europe at the moment as his name is on the transfer agenda of Lyon and Ajax.

According to Goal.com, Gunners are set for the transfer battle for the 20-year-old, who is having a stellar season in the Belgian top flight.

David has so far racked up 22 goals and 12 assists in all competitions this season and is said to be valued at €30m. He has also earned 12 caps for Canada’s national team, scoring 11 goals.

Meanwhile, the Gunners fear about losing their valuable prospect Gabriel Martinelli, who is wanted by Europe’s elite including PSG and Real Madrid.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been linked with an exit from the Emirates stadium, with Inter Milan and Barcelona keeping close tabs on.

The Gabonese striker’s current deal expires in the summer of 2021 and is reluctant to sign a contract extension.
