Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong has reportedly given the green light to join Inter Milan on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The Dutchman has less than five months remaining on his United deal and it appears that he is on the cusp of penning a pre-contract with the Nerazzurri.
According to Calciomercato, the 20-year-old has indicated to his representatives that he would like to join the Nerazzurri when his United contract expires in June.
The same publication claims that the young attacker will pen a five-year contract with the San Siro outfit before being loaned out to another club next season.
Chong, who has made just four starts for United in all competitions, was initially fancied to sign a pre-contract with the Nerazzurri in January but the move was stalled due to a disagreement over the agent fees.
In recent weeks, Antonio Conte's side have been reluctant to pay the £5m fee demanded but it appears that they are close to negotiating a lower package of around £2m for the deal to go through.
