Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has a 50 percent chance of featuring for the club during next week's derby against Manchester City in the Premier League.
The Frenchman has been restricted to just seven appearances in the English top-flight this season and this has been due to a nagging ankle issue for which he has recently undergone an operation.
According to L'Equipe, the 26-year-old is close to making his return to full training following his surgery and he could have an outside chance of playing in the Manchester derby on March 8.
Otherwise, the World Cup winner could be reintroduced to league action against Tottenham Hotspur in the following gameweek thus providing him with another seven days to improve on his fitness.
United have won back-to-back games in the Premier League after the winter break. They have the chance to go within one point off fourth-placed Chelsea, should they beat Everton away from home on Sunday.
United are winless in the past two league meetings against the Toffees.
