Emanuel Vignato

Emanuel Vignato

09 March 2020 - 18:17

19-year-old midfielder Emanuel Vignato has caught the eye so far this season for Serie B side Chievo, having played as a first-team regular for the Italian club. The midfielder has been tipped for eventual international honours for his country.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Last season Vignato burst on to the scene in Serie A, but unfortunately the club were relegated to Serie B.

Vignato has an excellent eye for the pass, with incredible ability off of the ball.  In addition, Vignato is comfortable playing anywhere in midfield and is an excellent crosser of the ball.

Vignato came through the ranks at Chievo, and was recently acquired on a permanent transfer by Bologna. As part of that deal, Vignato returned back to his former club Chievo for the 2019/20 season and from the next campaign he is expected to be an important member of Serie A side Bologna's first-team.

Vignato's preferred position is on the right wing, but is comfortable with either his left foot or right.

He is a wonderful dribbler of the ball, and prefers to operate as an attacking midfielder for his current club.

It is understood that several other top Serie A sides have been tracking Vignato, with both Juventus and AS Roma amongst potential suitors for the player. Vignato has already been given a hefty price tag of around 20 million euros by Bologna.
