Real Madrid could reportedly offer Dani Ceballos in a player-plus-cash deal to sign Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal this summer.
Ceballos is currently with the Gunners on a season-long loan from the Madrid giants and he has made 23 appearances in all competitions.
According to Marca, Los Blancos will offer the Gunners with the opportunity to sign Ceballos on a permanent basis, should Martinelli be allowed to move in the opposite direction.
Martinelli is currently valued at £70m, as per Spanish sources, and Los Blancos are hoping to significantly reduce the price for the transfer by offering Ceballos as a makeweight.
Ceballos, who is rated at £36m, has recently been a regular from the starting lineup under Mikel Arteta but the manager has stressed that the club have yet to open negotiations with Los Blancos over a permanent move.
Martinelli, on the other hand, has enjoyed a superb debut season following his move from Ituano. He has contributed 10 goals and two assists across all competitions for the Gunners.
