Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants the club to prioritise contract talks with Bukayo Saka amid the rumoured interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a superb breakthrough campaign with the Gunners this term and he has already made 29 appearances in all competitions.
According to The Telegraph, Arteta is keen on sorting out the future of the academy graduate, whose contract with the club is due to expire in less than 16 months' time.
Saka is generally a left winger by trade but under Arteta, he has primarily played on the left side of the defence from where he has made a number of goalscoring contributions.
The youngster has already bagged three goals and nine assists in all competitions and his progress has caught the eye of the likes of Liverpool and United, who are monitoring his contract status.
Arsenal are currently placed ninth in the league standings with 40 points. They are presently five points adrift of a potential Champions League spot with a game in hand.
