Manchester United make Dean Henderson transfer decision

Manchester United reportedly have no plans of selling goalkeeper Dean Henderson when he returns from the temporary stint at Sheffield United.

  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso

  • The 23-year-old is currently in his second-straight season on loan with the Blades and he has made a good impression with 10 clean sheets in the Premier League.

According to ESPN, Henderson is expected to return to Old Trafford at the end of the campaign but it is highly unlikely that the Englishman will accept a back-up role to David de Gea next season.

United will have plenty of transfer offers for their graduate but reports claim that they have no desire to sanction his sale. Instead, they could be willing to loan him out for the sixth time in his professional career.

Sheffield are likely to remain the favourites to re-sign him for the third-straight season on loan but they could be beaten by one of their Premier League rivals, who may propose a better financial package.
