Manchester United have reportedly acknowledged that they are unlikely to receive bids in excess of £60m for midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.
The Frenchman has been tipped to leave the Red Devils since the beginning of the year with former club Juventus said to be favourites to sign him.
Before the coronavirus outbreak, United were looking for around £100m for Pogba's sale but it now appears that they may have to lower their asking price.
According to Evening Standard, the club's hierarchy have privately acknowledged that the transfer valuations have plummeted with the ongoing pandemic.
Pogba has 14 months remaining on his existing deal but United have the option of extending his stay for another year with a clause present in his contract.
They have so far resisted the prospect of triggering the extension clause and remain hopeful that they can negotiate a new long-term contract with the World Cup-winning midfielder.
Pogba has made just seven appearances in the Premier League this term due to a nagging ankle problem. He is, however, expected to be completely fit when the season resumes.
