Liverpool are reportedly looking into a possible move for Bukayo Saka, who has yet to finalise a new long-term deal with Arsenal.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a superb breakthrough season with the Gunners this term and he has amassed three goals and nine assists from 29 outings.
Most of those appearances have come from the left side of the defence where he has particularly impressed with his quality crosses into the box.
According to The Mirror, the north London side have made no progress in the contract negotiations with Saka and they could face the prospect of losing him on a free in 13 months' time.
That is something which the board are unlikely to entertain and it is reported that they could be compelled to sanction the teenager's sale during the next transfer window.
Both Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are monitoring the youngster's situation. Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United have also been linked with the teenager in recent months.
