Manchester United enter the race to sign Wolves star

20 May 2020 - 12:03

Manchester United are prepared to compete with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City in the race to sign Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Traore has been in splendid form for the west Midlands outfit during the current season and he has registered four goals and seven assists from 28 league outings.

While the goalscoring contribution is not overwhelming, he has caught the eye of several clubs due to his quick movement and dribbling in the final third, which has contributed to a number of key chances created.

According to Le10Sport, the former Barcelona graduate is attracting plenty of interest from elite European clubs and United have recently joined the likes of Liverpool and City in the pursuit.

The Red Devils are looking to sign a new right-sided winger and Traore is supposedly one of the players being considered ahead of this summer's transfer window.

Traore has more than three years remaining on his contract with the Wolves. Nuno's side are understood to have placed a staggering £133m price tag on the attacker's head after learning of the high-profile interest.
