Manchester United are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing former Arsenal graduate Ismael Bennacer from AC Milan during the summer transfer window.
The Algeria international joined the Rossoneri from Empoli last summer and has been an influential figure in the centre of the park with 20 appearances in the Serie A.
His performances have already caught the eye of Paris Saint-Germain but RMC Sport claims that United and Manchester City are also in the running to sign the former Gunners youngster.
Bennacer, 22, has more than four years on his contract with the Rossoneri and the club are in a strong position to keep hold of him. However, the £45m release clause in his contract remains a tempting option for interested sides.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are planning to sign a new central midfielder in the next transfer window and Bennacer could prove a quality option, given he is defensively solid and has a good distribution range.
