Chelsea winger to join AS Roma?

Chelsea winger Pedro is understood to favour a move to AS Roma despite the fresh interest from Juventus.

The Spaniard is expected to leave the Blues on a free transfer when his contract expires during the summer and he has been fancied to pursue a fresh challenge in the Serie A.

Both Roma and Juventus have been credited with an interest in signing him  but AS claims that the former Barcelona man prefers to join the former where he is likely to be assured with regular first-team football.

Pedro has played a bit-part for the Blues under Frank Lampard this term and he has been restricted to only eight starts in the Premier League and Champions League combined.

He has previously expressed an interest in extending his stay with the club but that appears unlikely to happen. Hakim Ziyech has already been signed to strengthen the wide attacking department while the Blues are close to landing Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
