Chelsea are likely to shift their attention from Ben Chilwell to Layvin Kurzawa due to the hefty asking price set by Leicester City.
Blues boss Frank Lampard is keen on signing a new left-back this summer and he has earmarked Chilwell as one of the top transfer targets.
However, the west London side are reluctant to make a move for the Englishman due to the Foxes' £80m price tag and it is reported that they may look elsewhere.
According to SoccerLink, the Blues could be in the running to sign Kurzawa, who is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer following their Champions League campaign in August.
The Frenchman has also been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, but Lampard's side could lure him by offering a tempting salary on top of a sizeable signing-on fee.
Kurzawa has made 123 appearances during his five years at Paris Saint-Germain. He has played second fiddle to Juan Bernat for most of the ongoing campaign.
