17 July 2020 - 20:59

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that he is really pleased with the performances of Alexandre Lacazette and he has no desire to part ways with the striker this summer.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • The France international has been in fine form for the Gunners over the past few weeks and he has registered three goals in the previous four league games for the club.

Speaking ahead of the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City, Arteta said that he has been a huge admirer of the marksman and he does not expect to lose his services in the next transfer window.

"I really like Alex, I said that even before I joined here that he is the type of striker that I really like. Why would I want to lose a player like him? I'm really happy with him" He told via Arsenal.com.

The Gunners are expected to be underdogs for the upcoming FA Cup semi-final against the Cityzens at the Wembley Stadium, having lost the previous seven games in all competitions against them.
