Chelsea are being linked with a move for Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen. The player is unhappy at the Villains and is ready to make a move to Chelsea on loan.

The goalkeeper has fallen behind Scott Carson at Villa this year and is looking forward to the opportunity of a move elsewhere.



Chelsea face a goalkeeping crisis as both Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini face a spell injured on the sidelines and Hilario is set to take the number one spot.



Chelsea are now in the market for a backup goalkeeper and Thomas Sorensen could be the apparent answer to their keeping problems.
