Manchester United set Alexis Sanchez asking price?

02 August 2020 - 20:39

Manchester United have reportedly told Inter Milan that they would need to pay around £15m to sign Alexis Sanchez on a permanent basis.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Sanchez joined the Nerazzurri on loan last summer, but barely made an impact during the first half of the season after an ankle injury.

However, he has caught the eye following the coronavirus shutdown and has bagged three goals and seven assists from just eight starts for the club.

According to The Express, Antonio Conte's side are keen on signing Sanchez on a long-term deal, but will need to come up with a transfer offer of £15m.

Still, the deal remains complicated, given the Nerazzurri are unlikely to match his staggering £400,000-a-week wages while agreeing to pay the transfer fee.

Sanchez is currently available for Inter until their Europa League round of 16 clash against Getafe. United have refused to extend his stay further as they could come face-to-face with him in the final.
