Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to put pen-to-paper on a fresh three-year contract, a report from The Telegraph claims.
The Gabon international has been the Gunners' standout performer since his move from Borussia Dortmund two years ago and he recently helped them win the FA Cup final over Chelsea with a brace.
It was recently claimed that winning the trophy would convince Aubameyang to stay and The Telegraph claims that the north London giants are on the brink of agreeing a new deal with their skipper.
Aubameyang will earn wages of more than £250,000-a-week from the new contract while ensuring that he remains with the club until the summer of 2023 at the least.
Arsenal are working on a limited budget for the summer, but they are still looking to make at least three signings. Willian appears set to join them on a free transfer from Chelsea. He will sign a three-year deal on wages worth £100,000-a-week.
