Everton boss David Moyes believes that the 1-1 draw at St. Andrews between his side and relegation battlers Birmingham was a fair result for both teams. Joleon Lescott had put Everton in front, but Mauro Zarate came off the bench to level matters.
"I think it was a fair result," said Everton boss.
"Birmingham had one or two chances in the second half but I thought when we got the goal we would hang on for the win.
"It was important goal from Joleon. He has got nine now for the season, a great return.
"We had one or two opportunities without making great chances in the first half, but in the second half they upped it a bit more than we did even though we went in front."
