Manchester United have no plans of re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo despite the widespread speculation over the Portuguese's future.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • The 35-year-old will enter the final year of his contract with Juventus next summer and it has been suggested that he could be sold in order to reduce his hefty salary from their wage bill.

A recent report claimed that the Red Devils had made contact with super-agent Jorge Mendes regarding the possibility of re-signing the attacker at the end of the season.

However, this has been dismissed by Manchester Evening News, who insist that the Premier League giants have no plans of pursuing their former player next summer.

Meanwhile, a separate report from AS claims that Ronaldo does not have any desire to leave the Bianconeri and he is prepared to honour the remainder of his contract.

Ronaldo has been hugely successful for the Bianconeri with 71 goals from 94 appearances. He has registered six goals from just five games across all competitions this term.
