Bayern Munich in for Flamini

15 April 2008 - 11:51

Bayern Munich could make a move for French midfielder Mathieu Flamini. The Arsenal midfielder is out of contract in the summer and has not, as yet, signed a new deal with the club.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Bayern Munich's managing director Uli Hoeness has already hinted that he is keen to add steel to his midfield; and does not necessarily have to spend money to do so.

Flamini has thus, emerged as a potential target for the Bavarian giants.

"I want to sign another star player for our midfield," said Hoeness. "We are already in the process of recruiting a high-calibre individual.

"We don't always need to spend millions."
