Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira will reportedly push for a permanent move away from the Gunners during the winter transfer window.
Torreira joined the Gunners from Sampdoria in the summer of 2018 and he was a fan favourite during his debut season with the club.
However, the 24-year-old lost his way during the previous campaign and he was loaned out to Atletico Madrid earlier in October.
Torreira has since failed to nail down a starting role with just two starts in all competitions and he has cut a frustrated figure at the club.
According to La Nazione, the Uruguayan will be aiming to cut short his loan with Atletico with the aim of securing a fresh move elsewhere.
The midfielder prefers to leave the Gunners on a permanent basis and it remains to be seen whether they are any suitable transfer offers.
Torreira, who has managed 89 appearances for the Gunners, was previously on the radar of Fiorentina and Torino before his loan switch to Atletico.
