Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Ben Chilwell will be doubtful to face Arsenal this weekend after rolling his ankle against West Ham United.
The England international suffered the injury early on against the Hammers and he was substituted after just 10 minutes on the clock with Emerson replacing him.
The west London giants went on to win the game by a 3-0 scoreline and shortly after, Lampard provided an update on the injury sustained by the ex-Leicester City man.
"I expect he'll be doubtful for Arsenal. He turned his ankle and tried to carry on but it was too painful. We'll have a scan tomorrow to try and see how bad the injury is. We'll update after," He told via Chelseafc.com.
The Blues will face Arsenal in the Premier League on the road on Saturday. Reece James is a definite absentee for the London derby as he is nursing a knee problem.
Lampard's side are currently fifth in the league standings with 25 points on the board, 11 ahead of the Gunners, who are languishing in the 15th spot.
