Liverpool will be aiming to end a four-match winless league streak when they host Burnley at Anfield tonight.

  • Arsenal handed major boost on Odegaard for Newcastle trip
  • Enzo Maresca explains why Cole Palmer didn't face Newcastle

  • The Reds are currently six points adrift of leaders Manchester United, but they have played a game less than their arch-rivals.

    Formation: 4-3-3

    Predicted Lineup:

Alisson Becker has been the Reds' undisputed choice in goal when fit. He is expected to start against Sean Dyche's side.

In the defence, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson are definite starters in the right and left-back positions respectively.

At the heart of the backline, Joel Matip should return after an adductor injury to partner Fabinho, who has been a regular in the position in recent months.

With Matip's availability, captain Jordan Henderson should return to the three-man midfield.

Thiago Alcantara and Georginio Wijnaldum are likely to partner the England international in the centre of the park.

In the attack, no changes are expected despite the fact that the Reds have misfired in front of goal recently.

Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are set to feature on the right and left wing positions with Roberto Firmino leading the line once more.

Predicted Lineup (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson; Henderson, Thiago, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane.
