Portsmouth wants Lisandro Lopez

17 April 2008 - 00:03

Portsmouth are apparently considering a move for Porto's striker Lisandro Lopez. The Argentinian has been in great form this year and helped Porto the Portuguese title once again.

  • Chelsea have held talks for Ayyoub Bouaddi
  • Chelsea want Newcastle star to replace Cucurella?
  • Lisandro's agent, Fernando Hidalgo, has claimed that Portsmouth and Sevilla are both battling to snap up the striker.

Porto have already insisted though that Lisandro Lopez will be staying at the club - but the player himself declared only last week that he was unsure where he would be next season.

Lopez is valued at around £7 million - money that Portsmouth are likely to be given after reaching the FA Cup final and a successful year in the Premiership.
