Arsenal could reportedly propose to sign Barcelona defender Junior Firpo in a swap deal involving Hector Bellerin this summer.
Firpo was on the club's radar during the first two weeks of January but they were unable to strike a loan deal with the Catalan giants.
According to Football.London, the north London side are still interested in Firpo and may look to sign him in a part-exchange deal.
The Blaugrana are keen on re-signing former graduate Bellerin this summer and the Gunners could utilise him as a makeweight to land Firpo.
Firpo has largely featured on the left side of the defence, but he is also capable of playing at right-back or at the heart of the backline.
The Spaniard has made only 37 appearances for the Blaugrana since his move from Real Betis in the summer of 2019.
Despite his reduced game time, he is highly regarded by manager Mikel Arteta and the club are likely to make a summer approach for his services.
