Bullard after Liverpool win

Bullard after Liverpool win

17 April 2008 - 20:35

Optimistic Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard wants to snatch a shock victory over Liverpool in the Premiership match between the two at Craven Cottage at the weekend.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • “We can't get carried away with this win because we've now got to do the same thing against Liverpool,” Bullard told the official club website. "I think everyone knows how big this game is going to be.

“Liverpool are a top team and it's going to be hard to beat them but we've got to go out to beat them. That's all we're playing for - to win the game. In our situation we can't afford to go into these games wanting anything other than a win.

"It's all coming down to these last few games. All we can do is concentrate on getting our results and not worry about other teams because we can't control that. I'd take it going to the last game now.

“There's some confidence coming back and we're playing better, so if it went to the wire, I'd take it now."
