Manchester United have reportedly approached Brighton & Hove Albion over a summer deal for Ben White.
The centre-back was impressive for Leeds United on loan last season as they secured promotion to the Premier League after a 16-year wait.
He was linked with a potential return to Elland Road last summer, but a deal failed to materialise as Brighton wanted £50m to sell him.
According to TeamTalk, the Red Devils are already lining up their targets for the summer and have enquired over the availability of White.
The club are eyeing a new defensive partner for Harry Maguire and it is claimed that he wants a fellow Englishman alongside him.
White has been gathering plenty of attention over the past 18 months and Liverpool and Chelsea are also among the admirers.
United are hoping to make an early move for the defender, but he won't come on the cheap with Brighton unlikely to reduce the price tag.
