Everton could compete with Manchester United in the race to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.
The Senegal international has been regularly linked with a Premier League move since 2016, but a deal has never materialised.
He will enter the final two years of his Napoli contract this summer and Football Insider claims that he could be on the move.
The Naples outfit are facing financial concerns amid the coronavirus pandemic and Koulibaly is likely to be sold to ease their wage bill.
Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti managed Koulibaly at Napoli for 18 months and he is reportedly keen on luring him to Goodison Park.
However, they will face competition from United, who are long-term admirers of the centre-back and failed to sign him in 2018.
Napoli wanted around £67m for Koulibaly last summer, but it is now claimed that they could accept around £40m for his sale.
German giants Bayern Munich are also interested in the former Genk man.
